Fungal infections are characterized by moist, weepy, red skin patches. Although opportunities for risk of these type infections seem to be everywhere, (new evidence even points to involvement with sinusitis), they don't take hold when there is good immune response. Enhancing immunity is the key to controlling the infections. Athlete's foot (ringworm of the feet) and other fungal infections thrive in dampness and warmth. Make sure that any concurrently occurring fungal infections (like athlete's foot and "jock itch") are both treated, so that the infection is not bounced from one area to another. Avoid drug overuse, particularly long courses of antibiotics and cortisones. Broad spectrum antibiotic and steroid drug use can kill friendly digestive flora and lower immune defenses allowing fungus micro-organisms to grow.
Is your itchy skin a fungal infection ? If it is, the area will likely be scaly, cracked, bleeding, and tender, with a bacterial odor. Diet and LifeStyle Support Therapy

Nutritional therapy plan:

1 - Eat lots of cultured food like yogurt, tofu, and kefir to promote healthy intestinal flora and full nutrient absorption. Add lots of fresh fruits and vegetables to the diet.

Fungal skin infections can be spread by shared towels and bathtubs. Disinfect shower and wash towels regularly. Use different towels to dry off the infected skin area

For athlete's foot and toenail fungus:

Keep feet and shoes aired and dry. Change socks daily. Go barefoot as much as possible where appropriate. Dab with vinegar daily for athlete's foot/ nail infection. Apply Tripod Labs TINEASTAT cream. Apply Tea Tree Therapy TEA TREE OIL or Desert Essence TEA TREE OIL. Apply baking soda daily and soak your feet in warm epsom salts water for 10 minutes, dry then apply witch hazel . Expose affected ares to sunlight as much as possible.

For ATHLETE'S FOOT mIx an anti fungal paste: Crush or open in a bowl : B - 500mg, Now Niacin - 1000mg, Now Pantothenic Acid 500mg. Add 2 tsp. sesame oil and 2 tsp. nutritional yeast.
