Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Billions have been spent to discover cures, but as of this writing, no inroads have been made by the medical establishment with regard to eradicating this plague on humanity. Currently, research shows that 30% of all Americans will contract cancer, and 90% of all cancers are considered preventable.
What contributes to the incidence of cancer? Cancer cells are normal cells that have been altered by a chemical or other enabler that allows the cell to survive, but without its ability to function normally in its assigned job within the body. As these abnormal cells exist to survive, a breakdown in immunity occurs. Cancer cells are opportunistic, attacking when immune defenses are low. Therefore, a breakdown in the immune system is a leading cause of cancer. We all have cancer cells in our body, but the healthy immune system fights off these invaders of good health. Toxicity, free radicals, and oxidation are major factors for a failing immune system.
Toxicity is a by-product of poor diet. Many Americans subsist on a diet of junk food, "fast food", unbalanced meals and poorly combined foods. Stagnation, due to lack of proper exercise, is another major cause of toxicty and improper oxygenation. Free radical damage has been associated with the release of thousands of cellular oxidants damaging cells so badly that DNA codes can be altered and immunity compromised. Tissue breakdown and cellular deterioration from oxidative damage then occurs. Many will die prematurely from degenerative diseases as a result of this free radical damage. Environmental concerns are also contributing factors to poor immune function. We must be able to breathe fresh air, bathe in fresh water without chlorine, prevent contact with aluminum, asbestos, and other carcinogens. Other toxic intruders to a healthy immune system are our thoughts, negative mental dialogue, and emotional traumas. A holistic approach is necessary to promote healing of cancer.
A cleansing, nutrition-rich diet, enzyme therapy, regular exercise, and vitamin/ herbal supplementation is an effective program against cancer. Many cancers relate well to diet improvement. Keep the body alkaline. Reduce your intake of red meats. Increase daily vegetable consumption. Avoid caffeine, stimulants and carbonated drinks. Remove all white flour, refined sugars, processed and canned foods, excess carbohydrates, and fried, fatty foods from your diet. Keep your immune system strong. Use a multivitamin/ mineral complex, an antioxidant supplement, enzyme therapy such as CoQ10, and a superfood product daily. Regular exercise may be considered a cancer defense in itself. Exercise acts as an antioxidant and should be done 3 times per week at minimum.
