Alpha Lipoic Acid is a versatile water and fat soluble metabolic antioxidant. It is a potent free radical quencher and aids other vitamins in their antioxidant activities. This product provides the highest potency of Alpha Lipoic Acid available and also contains Grape Seed Extract (an additional antioxidant & synergist) and Biopertine (an effective absorption enhancer).
ALA is known as the "universal antioxidant" because it's soluble in both water and fat. It conserves and prolongs the activity of vitamins C and E, working synergistically with them and increasing their effectiveness. Without ALA, these antioxidants would not provide nearly as much benefit for the body. ALA is also an excellent metal detoxifier, particularly for mercury and cadmium, which we're exposed to daily from car exhaust and cigarette smoke. ALA binds these toxic metals and neutralizes them for excretion. A must-have supplement for anyone looking for outstanding antioxidant protection!
