L-Carnitine is a dipeptide (formed from two amino acids) that provides support for endurance exercise and recovery from high intensity exercise. It is found in the mitochondria (powerhouses of cells) where it facilitates fat metabolism and energy production. L-Carnitine is also heart healthy, as the heart in particular is reliant on L-Carnitine for the production of energy from fat.
This formulation provides Free Form, Pharmaceutical Grade L-Carnitine to promote optimal absorption and assimilation. It also provides Pantothenic Acid, a key coenzyme involved in energy release from cells. Solgar offers these nutrients in a ready to use, great tasting, liquid delivery form. To reduce oxidation and preserve nutrient potency, the formula is filled under a nitrogen flush.*
