By facilitating connective tissue formation, Vitamin C is a necessary component for skin health.* Vitamin C is an antioxidant that directly influences the myeloperoxidase/hydrogen peroxide/halide system.* By modulating this system, Vitamin C stimulates neutrophil motility.* Vitamin C is one of the best antioxidants for fighting free radicals, helping to protect the eyes, lungs, and blood from free radical damage.*
For immune system support, Vitamin C has been shown to promote the response of lymphocytes to mitogens.* In addition, Vitamin C supports the phagocytic functions of polymorphonuclear (PMN) neutrophils and supports the adherence of these cells to the vascular endothelium.*
SUGGESTED DOSAGE
