The biomass of the entire growing medium and mycelia in this product provide a broad spectrum of physiologically active compounds, including L-ergothioneine, adenosine, beta-glucans and phytosterols.

Cordyceps has been traditionally used in Chinese medicine for strengthening Qi (energy). The modern use of cordyceps includes energy enhancement, stamina and immune function.
